Fun, challenging and rewarding!.. Kiwanis Addiscombe was involved in the Kiwanis Youth Camp in Switzerland was an intriguing event filled with lifetime memories of fun and friendships with back-to-back schedules of life skills, problem solving, games and sports activities. Not forgetting the fulfilling eye-openers of many inspiring and innovative cultures that were shared through various video slides. This was complemented with a selection of mouth-watering food and drinks for us to taste from around the world.
Followed by exciting performances of each country’s ‘traditional dance, having the opportunity to join in and capture every step and move of each culture’s style and mannerisms individually and as groups. Personal development workshops were led by Jan Radoň and Joe Nopp. Presented by Carmen Estermann the theatrical games were griping and packed with non-stop laughter. Sandra Kuus gave highlights on Kiwanis and passionately shared other emotional Kiwanis Youth Camp experiences. Kiwanis Youth Camp Switzerland host, Markus Schenker was spectacular and well done to the UK team leader Sherrill Barker.
K-Kids Mother Day Workshop
The newly formed K-Kids would like to say, “Happy Mother’s Day”. In the workshop the K-Kids Club had designed their Mother’s Day Cards, using craft materials, card, and paper to create handmade Mother’s Day Cards adding their personal touch of words and originality. The K-Kids Club is sponsored by the Addiscombe Club.

Addiscombe supporting the Sutton Council as we work with the Phoenix Centre/ Youth Zone. This workshop is for age 14 to 21. The objective is to improve the youth self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-development.
